Progress : tree-10.1

About SplackYAY - PROGRESS.
Many thanks to Jason who has been busy building a large flock of updates.
Please test Jason\'s updates so that I can merge them into -beta.
ftp.splack.org/pub/splack/tree-10.1 and mirrors.

I have not tried this yet, but it would probably be a good idea to test this as an upgrade to a -beta system.

OOOOPS - I forgot to correct the permissions so those who have downloaded already may have seen some permission errors.

Mirrors using rsync and cron should be corrected automatically at their next download, usually daily, so please allow at least 24 hours for the mirrors to catch up.

Hi,

I just tried to install this version on my Blade 100.
Having some problems:
- Silo was not installed, so I untarred by hand.
After rebooting, I get an error like (as far as I can remember): 'can not find .. in your ELF image'.
(sorry for this incomplete error message)

- I also installed gcc64-Sparc64.
But there's still the problem - like in last Splack version
when compiling, I get the message: cannot find sparc64-linux-gcc
(I had to create a symlink named like that to sparc64-splack-linux-gcc-3.4.4)

PS. using splack-beta tftpboot version (=Slackware 9.1 setup version?) to boot and continue with an NFS installation
